PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Crowley Care Centre has a range of programs aimed at providing the delivery of high quality services.
Program managers are generaly registered nurses who have received special training in particular fields of health care:
- medication management
- palliative care
- wound management
- behaviour management
- rehabilitation
- continence
- bowel management
Program managers keep abreast of the latest developments in their field. They have routine contact with a range of external expert advisors and act as resource experts for their fellow staff members.
ACTIVITY AND THERAPY PROGRAMS
Crowley offers a wide range of therapeutic activities which aim to provide choice, variety, stimulation and pleasure for people who reside here.
The Activity and Therapy programs are run by Diversional Therapists.
The philosphy of the Diversional Therapy/Activities program is to encourage all residents to exercise active control on all aspects of their lives.
Activities may take the form that will result in individual or shared enjoyment, sense of purpose and fulfilment.
