2. What are the terms of occupancy?
Occupancy of the units is by way of Licence Agreement which affords the resident uninterrupted right of residency under the terms and conditions of the Agreement.
3. Can I leave the unit to any of the family?
No, under the terms of the Licence Agreement the actual unit itself cannot be bequeathed. You are entitled to the refundable interest free loan and this may be bequeathed in the usual way.
4. Who pays the rates?
Water, Land & Sewerage rates are paid by Crowley.
5. How will I get to know other people at Crowley?
Regular and special occasion social activities are organised to help you get to know your neighbours. The cheerful atmosphere and pedestrian based layout of Crowley encourages residents to meet each other by just living here in the community – it is easy to make lots of new friends.
A social calendar is displayed in the Activity Centre and a monthly newsletter keeps residents up to date.

8. What are the nearest major centres?
The nearest major centres are Lismore 30 minutes car travel, Gold Coast is approximately 70 minutes travel time and Brisbane is approximately 2.5 hours.
9. What public transport is available?
- Locally, Crowley is on a regular daily bus route to all shopping areas.
- Regular daily Bus services are available to Lismore, and surrounding areas.
- Ballina is serviced by the Countrylink bus as well as regular long distance bus services.
- The Ballina/Byron airport is regularly serviced by Virgin, Jetstar and Rex.
